PACT Foundation invites you Thursday, September 29th 2011, at Clubul Ţăranului, in Muzeul Ţăranului Român, to meet with “Fiii satului", "Sons of village", from 19.30. It's a cocktail event addressed mainly to business representatives in order to raise funds for rural inhabitants who believe in their power to change their own lives and the communities they belong for the better.
The event will be attended by sons of village, people who supported by us, have changed the community they live in, with business representatives, partners and funders of PACT Foundation and other guests eager to contribute to the development of rural communities in Romania.
Melania Medeleanu will host the event, for which PACT and his friends, among them actor Mihai Malaimare with MASCA theater, have prepared a special program that will be completed by enjoying the house wine and good music, photograph and plastic art exhibition belonging to famous artists, Dutch auction for unusual items donated by talented and generous people and many other networking surprises.
All money raised at this event will be used to support PACT projects in the spirit of Romanian village, designed and made by locals, with our support.
The price of a ticket to the event is 30 RON and includes participation in a raffle with prizes donated by close friends of PACT.
We invite you to join this initiative of fundraising and meet some of those who were able to start small community business, to build playgrounds, to dig wells or to renovate clinics and libraries with 4500 RON (amount offered by us to new community projects).
I urge you, also, to promote participation at the event among employees of your company, the exhibition with sale and Dutch auction of the event.
It would help enormously if your company representative would decide whether to buy tickets for employees or to sponsor the event by buying a painting created by one of our artists who have donated their works.
We present The Art Auction Catalogue including works of art donated by famous artists, exhibitors within the event, hoping that this will inspire you for the pre-auction that takes place between 19th to 26th September. Art Auction Catalogue contains information about artists, works that were donated and starting prices. Pre-auction winners will be announced during the event. The amounts will also constitute a sponsorship contract between the company and PACT.

Your company's contribution will be made known in both media and all PACT Foundation communication channels (ex. website, Facebook page, author blog page Romania Pozitiva), as support for local development through community projects and social or cultural entrepreneurship of groups of people from small rural communities in the south part of the country.
For over 6 years, PACT is acting to help developing rural communities, working with people who understand and help themselves by giving them training, technical assistance and small amounts of money for community projects.
For us to spread the news as things develop Romanian villages in a genuine and healthy way is very important. Therefore, we seek the support of those individuals and organizations / companies / firms / institutions that see the added value to support us in our efforts dedicated to community development projects in the villages where we work.
