Around 200.000 people around the country took part at the country clean-up organized by Let's do it Romania team on September 25th. Among the counties with the highest citizen participation rate, we are glad to encounter 3 counties from South Romania were PACT Foundation has supported the establishment of 23 community-based organizations: Arges, Dolj and Gorj.
Other counties with high participation were Brasov, Cluj, Maramures, Ilfov (+Bucuresti) and Iasi;in each of these counties, the project team mobilized over 10.000 people to participate in the largest social involvement project ever organized in Romania.
The project team is now preparing for the "next big step". Loyal to a bottom-up approach, they are expecting citizens to provide them with ideas and suggestions for future projects, at the web-address: http://is.gd/hq9rr.
